Grand Rapids Civic Theatre

If you find yourself downtown with nothing to do, make sure you swing by The Civic Theatre located on 30 N Division Ave. The Civic Theatre has been a long standing live theater since the roaring twenties.
They started out as the civic players and would perform in The Cecelia Auditorium in downtown Grand Rapids.
In 1935 it officially changed its name to The Civic Theatre.  It's name became widely known and it began engrossing thousands and thousands of dollars a week.
Today, The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre & School Of Theatre And Arts is the 5th largest community theater in the country. They produce nine mainstream productions every year, and regularly receive phenomenal reviews.
So don't be shy. Whether you would like to audition, or if you're just in the mood to see a good show, stop on into The civic Theatre. You won't be disappointed.
